Meet the Staff
Jason Duncan is a transplant originally from Harrisonville MO. Jason has now been a Sioux City resident for 11 years. Jason was employed with Wal-Mart for 13 1/2 years, doing many hourly and management jobs. After Wal-Mart Jason went to work for Younkers as the Fragrance and Cosmetic Manager for 3 1/2 years. Now Jason is our Store Manager of the Family Thrift Store.
Shelly Posey is a lifelong Sioux citian, she has been married for 30 years and has four sons. She also has four beautiful grandchildren. She worked at Wal-Mart for nearly 17 years as a dept. manager, and briefly for the Sioux City Comm. Schools. Shelly is now a lead clerk with Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Chris Abbott was born and raised in Sioux City. He has been married for six years and has a five year old son. Christ has worked at several different companies as a driver and has held duties that range from delivery to trash pickup. He now works as the store transportation supervisor at the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Chandra Julch was raised in So. Sioux City Nebraska and moved over to Iowa at the age of 18. Chandra has been married for eleven years and has a daughter and a son. Chandra has worked in retail since the age of 16 in several hourly and management positions. Chandra is currently the Assistant Store Manager of the Thrift Store.
Chanel Tongish was born and raised in South Sioux City. She has been married for 16 years. She has been blessed with three wonderful daughters. She has worked in customer service most of her years. Despite having to overcome many obstacles, Chanel has a wonderful outlook on life! Chanel is our store clerk here at the Thrift Store.
Kenna Sturges is a native of Sioux City. Kenna has four children and three grandchildren. Kenna worked at Iowa Beef for 20 years and was a Union Steward. Kenna then began at Wal-Mart for 19 years in a management position. Kenna is currently the lead cashier at The Salvation Army Family Thrift Store.
Geoff Posey is a lifelong resident of Sioux City. He graduated from West High School in 2011. Geoff enjoys riding his motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. He had three brothers and two nieces, and two nephews that he enjoys spending time with. Geoff is our truck assistant.
